Every couple has their hurdles-our dilemma

As college students Bennie and I have accumulated our share of student loans and haven't had the chance to save any money because of our check to check college student lifestyle. Neither of our families have the money to help with the wedding so we need a bit of help to accumulate the cash to pay for the wedding without incurring more debt and beginning our marriage without stability. We need your help to make our wedding work. We have plans to make this a small, inexpensive wedding, but still need more than what we have to pull it off. If you would like to make a donation to Bennie and Krystal's wedding fund we will be forever greatful for your donations. Thank you for your time and your blessings.
The Perfect Proposal!

Bennie and I have been together for three years now. Through those three years he has been my very best friend and I am so happy to be engaged to a man like him. Our engagement took place on our anniversary this year. Because out anniversary is Sweetest Day we always have our day on a weekend because Sweetest Day is the second weekend of the month of October. This year he took me to a restaurant and we sat over dinner talking about the past three years of our lives spent together. Before dinner came Bennie told me he would give me my gift and that he had something to read. Every year he reads me a letter to tell me how he feels and to show he cares. This year the letter was different. As he read everything in his words felt so final, so complete. It is difficult to explain, but as he read the words I knew what he had planned. The beginning and middle of the letter are all a blur now, but the ending will be remembered for the rest of my life. "Will you marry me." I never thought I'd cry during my proposal but somehow it seemed as if we were in a movie seen as I burst into tears and expressed my loss of words. After I finally composed myself I finally told him yes and allowed him to slip on the ring. That was the best anniversary ever!
Krystal and Bennie

Who we are
My name is Krystal and my fiancee is Bennie. We are both college students in the last semester of our undergrad years. Both Bennie and I are both the first college grads in our families! We're beginning a legacy and are proud of our accomplishments and excited about our future together.
How We met
We met during our first year at college. He was walking through the the study/hangout area of the school handing out information about his new campus radio show and I was hanging out with two friends looking to meet some new acquantances. Bennie happened to come up to us to promote his show and ended up only talking to me in the end. After a half hour of talking he invited my friends and I to come to his campus apartment to hang out. He also invited a few others to come and make it a party. I showed up at his house later that day with one of my friends and we had a great time listening to music and learning about one another. After the night was over it was time for my friend and I to go back to our dorms. Bennie came to be before I left and asked for me to call him the next day. I told him I would. After that, we hung out every single day.
Boyfriend and Girlfriend
A month later it was time for Sweetest day. Bennie asked me to be his Sweetie and celebrate with him. He cooked me dinner of baked chicken, vegetables, and garlic bread and bought me a flower and a teddy bear. I bought him a necklace pendant of the symbol for his favorite team; he loved the Detroit Pistons. After dinner we sat on the couch to talk and he began to act shy. I knew what he was about to ask me. After a great deal of effort getting over the fear of rejection he finally asked me to be his girlfriend and I graciously accepted.
